It has been extremely frustrating to see so many answers that explain how the stalled message SHOULD ideally work, but disregarding that it's not working as designed for almost every single person asking this question. So it's none of the above, it is most definitely qBittorrent itself since it worked yesterday and doesn't work today, so please for the love of god what the hell is the issue with qBittorrent and how the hell do we solve it once and for all? Other torrent clients download it fine, but my qBittorrent is set up to work with Radarr and Sonarr and my VPN so I'd prefer not to change.I use a VPN, however nothing changes when I turn it on/off, change locations, etc still randomly stalled.Yes, I've checked my download speeds, 200mbps down consistently.I've restarted my computer, and restarted my router. Yes, I have closed and reopened qBittorrent.It was working yesterday, today they're stalled and no settings have changed. Yes, it has multiple available seeders who have it at 100%, double checked on other clients.I've even checked in a separate download client. I'll just copy/paste these to anyone who ignores it.

By switching your torrent client, you will be able to resume stalled downloads. Even though there are many options, uTorrent is the most reliable. If downloading fails to progress despite all your efforts, you'll have to switch to a different torrent client. What if neither option works? Then, switch to another torrent client as a last resort. If there are no firewall restrictions, uninstall the torrent client and download it again.If you have never done this before, follow the instructions from our guide to whitelisting apps in Windows Defender. Whitelist the qBittorrent client from your Windows Defender or antivirus software.In the latter case, the issue is with your torrent client. Check for Torrent Client or Torrent File IssuesĪre you experiencing this issue only with specific torrent files, or does it happen with every download you perform? If the former is true, find a different torrent file, and the issue will be resolved.
